Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga, a sacred science which is over 5,000 years old, is a comprehensive technology ideally suited to today’s world. Through asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), mantra, mudras and meditation Kundalini Yoga strengthens the nervous system, balances the glandular system, quiets the mind and dramatically enhances intuition. Often called the Yoga of Awareness, the primary goal is to awaken Kundalini energy, the psycho-energetic force that leads to transformation and spiritual elevation. This class incorporates rhythmic movements in conjunction with deep stretches, powerful breathing techniques, meditations and mantras. You will feel results quickly, as Kundalini Yoga increases flexibility, energizes the mind and thoroughly relaxes the body. Classes are based on the teachings of Yogi Bhajan, who brought this powerful technology to the West because he felt that we would desperately need such a powerful practice to cope with the changing times. As we are deeply immersed in those times now, this yoga is a gift that will help you focus your mind, relax your body and elevate your spirit. All levels are welcome!

Jackson draws from a lifetime of study in Martial Arts and Biomechanics in order to provide top-quality coaching for his students and clients. His intention in teaching is to serve the highest good for all beings, and specifically to facilitate the empowerment of each individual student so they may expand into their own deepest Self-Realization.
His educational in Movement Arts has been ongoing for the last 30+ years. Even since early childhood, he has always integrated the spiritual and meditative practices at the root of the martial arts without ignoring the mundane mechanical physics of movement.

The various educational and professional wells of experience from which he draws are too numerous to list here, but a handful of the most influential might include teaching Tai Chi to Parkinson's patients as part of a research project at the University of Florida, thousands of hours of study in Coaching both as a Yoga instructor and Personal Trainer, and more than a decade as a professional Sports Therapist specializing in medical massage and injury rehabilitation. Showing others a path and a method to take ownership of their wellness is one of the most fulfilling, deepest joys in his life.

Class Description
"Nei Gong" refers to the Skills and Methods used in those traditional Chinese martial arts labeled as "Internal Ways," or "Nei Jia."
Awareness, Breath, Stillness, and gentle Movement are the primary doors we will use in this class to deepen our understanding of what makes the "Internal" martial arts different from those labeled as "External."
Principles drawn from the main Internal Kung Fu styles- Tai Chi, Bagua, and HsingYi- will all be employed in this exploratory process. We will learn ways of Rooting, Relaxing, and Expanding which are common to all of the Nei Jia systems of China. We will also practice several of the most effective forms of self-care and preventative medicine on Earth, originating over 4000 years ago in the high period of Taoism.

We focus on the feeling-state and the Principles which make all of the forms meaningful, so any student can benefit from this practice whether it's day 1 or day 10,000. Self-defense, Self-care, and Self-liberation all in one elegant system. Come feel the flow for yourself.
